How we manage Storytell user dataRewrite using your voice guidelines
Consider this scenario: You have created a blog about your most recent webinar but it’s not consistent with your company’s brand voice.
Note: This could apply to any content. Be aware that Anthropic’s models (Claude, etc) sometimes refuse to rewrite in another voice, so if that happens, just switch to a different LLM.

Step 1: Locate your voice guidelines
- Have voice guidelines?
- Yes? Find it! You’ll use this in your prompt later on
- If you don’t already have voice guidelines, here’s how to create them
- Upload content written in the voice you want to use
- Select “Upload knowledge” from our Content Manager to get this screen
- Select
Choose Files
- Choose documents, video or audio files that emulate the voice you want to use
- Tag the content when you upload it, like so
- Chat with the tag you created
- Use this prompt https://go.storytell.ai/create-voice-guidelines
- Fill out
Brand Name
for the brand, company, or person’s voice you’re creating

Step 2: Locate the content you want to rewrite
- Want to rewrite a blog post? Get the content you want to rewrite at your fingertips
- Example: Here’s a blog I used Storytell to write based on a webinar about how to use our product for technical writing
Step 3: Rewrite your content using this prompt
- Go to “All My Knowledge”
- Use this prompt — but don’t send it yet! You need to assemble it
