How to create tags in SmartChat™
What's a tag?
You can think of a tag as a container to hold whatever data you want to better understand. For instance, we've created a tag for each of our core users so everyone in our company can better understand each individual power user.
Two ways to create tags:
I. Create tags while your content is uploading
- Begin by uploading your content to SmartChat™.
- Add custom tags to your content by clicking the + Add a new tag button below the processing bar.
- When you click on the uploaded content, you'll see the tag you added. This is where you can also add preexisting tags.
II. Add tags on the Content Manager tab
- Go to the Content Manager tab
- Select the content you want to tag. This will open a side panel displaying your existing tags.
- Click on + Add tags. This will open a pop up window where you can manage your tags.
- Create new tags, delete tags, and/or assign an existing tag to your content.
- After you've finished tagging your content, click on Done to save your changes.
How to create groups
What are groups?
A group
is a collection of tags. Why would you want to create one? So you can easily return to the group of tags you were chatting with, review the chat history, or interact with the group next time you return to Storytell.
- Go to the chat within SmartChat™
- Select the tags you wish to group together.
- Once selected, click the Create A New Group button that will pop up under that My Groups section.
- Type in the name of the group in the provided field and hit enter.
