How we manage Storytell user data

Use Storytell Smartchat™

Creating your Storytell account

Create an account to experience full features. You can click the Sign in button on the top right of the page to sign in.

We provide two ways to sign in:

Sign up with email

1. Go to smartchat.storytell.ai
2. Click Sign Up at the top right corner of the home page.

3. A new sign-up page will open where you can input your first and last name, email address, and password.

4. Click on the Sign Up button.
5. You can now log in with the email address and password you provided.

Sign up with your Google account

1. Go to smartchat.storytell.ai
2. Click Sign In at the top right corner of the home page.

3. Once the sign-up page opens, simply click on Sign up with Google.


You should now be able to use your Google account to sign in with Storytell.

Verify your email account

Are you seeing popups and responses like these:

This means that you need to verify your Storytell email account. Here’s how to do that:

1. After signing up, you will receive an email from hello@storytell.ai to the email address you used to create your Storytell.ai account.
2. Click on the link in the email we sent you to verify your email address. (Only click ONCE)

Can’t find the verification email?

1. Search your email for sender email address: hello@storytell.ai
2. Check the "updates" folder in your inbox
3. Check your spam folder
💡
You can also type hello@storytell.ai in:spam on your gmail search bar to do this quicker
4. Click on the link in the email we sent you to verify your email address. (Only click ONCE)

How do I know if my account is verified?

1. Go to either World's Knowledge or All my Knowledge
2. Type in any prompt
3. You should get a proper response back from Storytell

I still can’t verify my account.

If you’re still getting error messages like these, please send an email to feedback@storytell.ai with the subject line: Email verification issue - [Name]

Logging out your Storytell account

1. Click on the Storytell icon to go to the main landing SmartChat™ page:

2. Hover over your profile name to show the “log out” option:

3. Then, click on Log Out

Deleting your Storytell account

1. Click on the Storytell icon to go to the main landing SmartChat™ page:
2. Hover over your profile name to show the “Manage Account” option:
3. Then, click on Delete Your Account
