Automate meeting notes + action items
Consider this scenario: Employees have missed your most recent All Hands while on PTO. They’re unlikely to watch the entire meeting, but you don’t want them to miss out on the most important parts.
Note: What’s important to me is likely different than what’s important to you, which is why Storytell gives you the power to chat with your content. Then I can ask my questions and you can ask yours.

Step 1: Find the link to the Zoom you want to download and enter the password
Step 2: Download the Zoom call
(Yes, we use duck race to find out who will facilitate our next All Hands!)
Step 3: Locate the largest file in your download
Step 4: Upload this file 👆 to your SmartChat™
- Select “Upload knowledge” from our Content Manager to get this screen
- Select
Choose Files
- Choose the largest Zoom file from your download
Step 5: Set the level of access by clicking on the dropdown menu
- Private Zoom call?
- Give your entire company access by choosing
only my org
- Or make it accessible only to you with
just me
- Public Zoom call? Make it accessible to anyone you share it with using
anyone with the link
Step 6: Tag your content to organize it. Think of tags as dynamic folders.
- Select
Add a new or existing tag
- Add the tag you want and hit enter
- You can add more than one tag — I’ve created the following tags for the same content

Storytell All Hands
- I’ll add all the All Hands at Storytell to this tag so I can query all of them at once
- Close the upload modal
Step 7. See content you’ve uploaded in the Content Manager
Step 8. Make any adjustments to tags, file name, and permissions in the content manager
Step 9. Select a tag to start chatting with it
Step 10. Select Chat with this tag
Step 11. You’re now in our chat interface. Click on our question library to open it up.
Step 12. Use the Meeting
prompt on your Zoom call by clicking on the arrow shown
Step 13. To use the Meeting
prompt, click the arrow in the chat bar
Step 14. Read Storytell’s response

Step 16. Want to share the SmartChat™ with your team? After you've down the following, you can!
- Created a Storytell account
- Uploaded content into SmartChat™
- Made content accessible to folks in your org
- Created a tag or a group
Share with your org
- Click the icon on the upper right corner of the chat and click on Share SmartChat™ button
- A modal will pop up. You can either share the qr code or share the direct link to the smartchat
Your coworker will need to:
- Create a Storytell account using the org domain
- Verify their email
- Then they can dive right in!
